About the Artist
Pandora Jones is a Scottish-Australian artist working in ceramics and watercolour. Her current work explores the relationship between humans and the water and draws upon memories of time spent in Sicily and Greece.
She is inspired by the sensation of submerging one self underwater, old Greek paintings and the colour of the sea the moment the sun disappears behind the horizon.
She has sailed the Atlantic, Mediterranean, Pacific and Southern Ocean. Her time exploring small corners of the world and spending time with intriguing humans influences her work.
She creates private commissions for clients across the world and has work in private collections internationally and in Australia. Her work has been exhibited in Malta and Australia. She currently works from her studio on Perth, Western Australia.
